Our executive chef Simon Chen brings more than 20 years of culinary expertise and enthusiasm to his current role as an Executive Chef/CEO at Gulfstream Seafood Restaurant and Market. His background is Asian foods (Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese), French foods, Italian foods, and Seafood.

His extensive training had provided him with both the skills and the vision to bring a unique creativity to Gulfstream Seafood Restaurant and Market. His catering experience begins with Who’s Cooking Catering in Washington D.C and Windows Catering in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

Simon Chen also served as an Executive Chef at the 5- Star restaurant and Country club in Tysons Corner, Virginia called Seasons Culinary and Resorts. In addition to this he worked as an Executive Chef for Arnold and Porter providing catering service for 2000 clients including the high official governors and attorneys. When he moved to West Palm Beach he worked at Taboo’s Restaurant on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, FL as an Executive Chef for 6 years.
